Their inspiration from Zen Buddhism in particular felt like a completely different, and&nbsp; much more alive, way of being in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I had to go through a life crisis before I really started meditating in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since then, I have dedicated a large part of my life to practicing, studying and teaching meditation..&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have spent over six months in silence on meditation retreats around the world, including in Thailand, Sri Lanka, England, France, Scotland, Germany, Portugal and Denmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, I have completed a one-year training as a mindfulness instructor from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindfulnesstraininginstitute.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">Mindfulness Training Institute<\/a> in England, and an education like&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forebygstress.dk\/stresscoaching_uddannelsen_kursus.htm\" target=\"_blank\">stress coach<\/a>&nbsp;by Bjarne Toftegaard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have a Master of Arts in Journalism and Cultural Studies from RUC in 2011. Alongside my meditation, I have worked with and taught communication at the University of Copenhagen and the Danish Institute for International Studies for a number of years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am the son of a social worker and an artist. Both have helped shape my life. The social indignation has particularly found expression in my many years of work with international development work.
